Proposal guidelines
- All plays must be in English.
- They should run for approx. 25–60 minutes with no interval. (Several shorter pieces may be combined to form a longer entry.)
- Find out the cost of the rights and make sure they are available before submitting your proposal. (Rights don’t need to be obtained until after a proposal is accepted.) Original and out-of-copyright works are also welcome.
- Please avoid complicated sets, special effects, or other technically challenging aspects.
- Set, costume and prop budgets should be minimal. If you require any advice on budgeting, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
The committee will decide on the proposals by 1 August 2012, and will announce which plays have been accepted shortly afterwards.
Auditions will be held in late August. More details to come once the festival programme has been finalised.
