Welcome to our first rehearsed reading of the year: 'Helpless' by Vello Ruus on Friday 28 February at 7 pm.

Should we help others? Why? And when is intervention a bad idea?

Michael returns home after a year abroad to find Katy living in his house with her newborn baby. Due to Katy's depression, she is unable to cope with her life and, once again, Michael finds himself having to help.

To his relief, his daughter Ricki shows up with a surprise of her own: she is engaged to an Italian named Michele. Soon after, Michael's son David arrives with his girlfriend Sandy, whose sexual energy explodes the hidden conflicts in the family leaving a new beginning for some and a dead-end for others.

Featuring Zoë Chandler, Jonathan Hutchings, Tiina Isoviita, Lauri Kivi-Koskinen, Aurora Korppi, John Leo, and Jukka Tykkyläinen

Refreshments will be available for purchase before the show and during the interval.
