August & September 2009

Here's what's coming up in August and September:

Friday August 28: Play Reading, 7 p.m., at FINNBRIT (Fredrikinkatu 20a).

Join us for another evening of comedy with a selection of plays by American & Canadian writers.

The Oxford Roof Climber’s Rebellion by Stephen Massicotte
An intelligent, witty and at times very moving study of two heroes after their return home from the First World War. Lawrence of Arabia and the poet Robert Graves are two haunted men - armed with a talent for practical jokes - who grasp at love and dare to imagine a new world.

An Eastern Fable by Sam Bobrick
The Philadelphia by David Ives
Two short plays dealing with a couple of curious American maladies.

Bring refreshments and a friend.

Saturday September 5: Auditions for Betrayal and More, 1 p.m., at FINNBRIT (Fredrikinkatu 20 A 9).
