WHAT: Auditions for Poetry & Jazz
WHEN: Tuesday 4 June 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: FINNBRIT, Fredrikinkatu 20 A, Helsinki (MAP)

Our theme for the autumn programme of Poetry & Jazz is ‘War & Peace’. So we're looking for pieces about all types of conflict, such as wars, arguments, inner turmoil, and passive aggression. But don't forget the peace! We also need pieces that explore calm and tranquility.

And not only poetry, but also monologues, dialogues, and 'flash fiction' prose. All pieces must either a) be your own work, b) be out of copyright, or c) have performance permission from the author.

If you've never taken part in Poetry & Jazz before, you will have to attend the auditions. Please bring all the pieces you're considering to the audition, including copies for the producer.

The performances are on Tuesdays 10, 17 & 24 September at 7 p.m. Rehearsals will start in earnest in late August, but we will meet at least once before midsummer.
